Instructions

  1. Zest and juice the lemons.
  2. Combine zest, juice, sugar, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat, whisking until dissolved.
  3. Melt the butter and stir until fully incorporated.
  4. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the egg mixture to the lemon mixture, whisking constantly.
