A creamy, dreamy banana pudding layered with love and topped with whipped cream, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 23 ripe bananas
  • 1 box of vanilla wafers
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Combine the ingredients: In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, flour, and salt.
  2. Thicken the mixture: Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  3. Whisk the eggs: In a bowl, whisk the eggs, then gradually add some of the hot mixture to temper the eggs.
  4. Renew the cooking: Pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add vanilla: Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Layer the ingredients: In a serving dish, layer the vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and the pudding mixture.
  7. Repeat the layers and finish with pudding on the top.
  8. Chill the pudding: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  9. Add whipped cream: Top with whipped cream before serving.
