A delicious and quick dish combining tender beef and crisp vegetables in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat in a large pan or wok.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional minute for flavor.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables to the pan and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, or until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and teriyaki sauce, stirring to coat the beef and vegetables evenly. Cook for another 2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  6. Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Notes

Slice beef against the grain for tenderness. Don’t overcook vegetables for the best texture.
