A fun and flavorful Cajun dish perfect for gatherings, featuring shrimp, potatoes, corn, and sausage.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, deveined
  • 1 pound of baby potatoes
  • 1 pound of corn on the cob, cut into halves or thirds
  • 1/2 pound of smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 4 quarts of water
  • 1 lemon, quartered
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Add Cajun seasoning, garlic, and lemon.
  2. Add potatoes and cook for about 15 minutes until almost tender.
  3. Add corn and sausage, cooking for another 5 minutes.
  4. Finally, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, around 3-5 minutes.
  5. Drain the mixture and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Serve family-style on newspaper for a fun dining experience. Provide extra lemon wedges and hot sauce on the side.
