- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt the peanut butter and honey in a medium saucepan over medium heat until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Add the rolled oats to the mixture and stir until well combined.
- Press the oat mixture evenly into the bottom of an 8×8 inch lined baking pan.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the oat mixture and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate until set, about 1-2 hours. Cut into bars and serve.
