A flavorful and easy dish featuring juicy steak enhanced with garlic and fresh herbs, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin, ribeye, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the garlic herb mixture onto both sides of the steak.
  4. Place the steak on the grill or in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.
  5. If using, add butter to the pan for added flavor during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Remove the steak from heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Allow the steak to come to room temperature before cooking for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness and let it rest after cooking to keep it moist.
