Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • Balsamic vinaigrette for dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the flank steak with olive oil, seasoning it with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the steak for about 6-8 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
  5. Combine the salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced red onion, diced avocado, and crumbled feta cheese in a large bowl.
  6. Slice the grilled flank steak against the grain and layer it on top of the salad.
  7. Drizzle balsamic vinaigrette over the mixture and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, don’t overcook the flank steak and always slice against the grain.
