A delicious and healthy grilled salmon dish with a sweet and savory honey garlic marinade.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, black pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade, reserving the marinade.
  5. Place the salmon fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-6 minutes on each side or until the salmon is cooked through.
  6. Bring the reserved marinade to a boil in a small saucepan for about 2 minutes.
  7. Drizzle the cooked salmon with the boiled marinade and garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

Let the salmon marinate for at least 30 minutes. Keep an eye on it while grilling to prevent drying out.
