Ingredients

  • 1 pound white fish fillets (like cod or tilapia)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Brush the fish fillets with olive oil, and season with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the seasoned fish on the heated grill or skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas in another skillet until soft.
  5. Assemble the tacos by layering the grilled fish, cabbage, avocado, and tomatoes on each tortilla.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
