Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves (for wrapping)
  • Toppings: sliced tomatoes, avocado, mustard, or yogurt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. Serve the turkey patties in lettuce leaves and top with your choice of sliced tomatoes, avocado, mustard, or yogurt.

Notes

For the best crunch, use fresh lettuce leaves. Romaine or butter lettuce works well. Feel free to experiment with seasonings or add herbs for more flavor.
