- 9 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Measure Rice Chex cereal in a large bowl and set aside.
- Melt the chocolate mixture by combining chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Add the vanilla extract into the melted mixture.
- Coat the Rice Chex cereal with the chocolate mixture, mixing gently.
- Shake the mixture in a large plastic bag with powdered sugar until evenly coated.
- Cool the Puppy Chow on a baking sheet before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. You can add nuts or sprinkles for extra flavor.
