Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the unsalted butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add in the all-purpose flour and salt until you have a soft dough.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls, about the size of a tablespoon.
  6. Place the dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Flatten each ball with a fork.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
